The arsenic removal technology addressed a serious health hazard the Indian Ganges delta, but the design considerations were complex. The intimidating technology needed a reassuring, low scale design for children. The geography suffers from erratic electricity supply. And installation, serviceability was key.
H2.0 is designed to give intimidating technology a human face. The design language of “serious play” combines play with technology tempering its authoritative power. The flat rigid planes give a robust powerful look balanced with playful colors and graphics making it approachable to school children. In terms of functionality, the knock-down and weld free assembly enables installation, and gas spring hinges offer easy serviceability. Moreover, it has been designed to run on renewable energy, circumventing power disruption for better reliability.
