Designing an enterprise BPM

Savvion Digital
Challenge

Savvion a leading US based Business Process Management (BPM) company, provided software and services to the world’s largest and most respected organizations to better create, manage and optimize their core processes. A market leader and pioneer, it was looking to improve the usability of its products, so its BPM solution remained the most preferred in the industry.

Solution

Collaborating with the existing usability and design team at Savvion as external consultants for User Experience Design, the team first proposed a usability expert review of some major products. This was followed by the larger goal of integrating the usability process with the product development lifecycle.

With a continuous beta in progress, weekly quality usability bugs were reviewed, screen and interaction design options for the desktop and web based products were shared and customer site visits were mapped to gather data real time, on product usage. In addition, a master UI manual and usability training material for specialised teams in the organisation were also developed.
